are serious issues. You and your children have the right to be safe and free from harm, both
physical and emotional. You should not be afraid.
The court will grant an order protection based upon a proper demonstration of proof. If the order
protection is violated, the potential penalties can include incarceration. In the alternative, an
order protection which is improperly filed, and intended to gain an unfair advantage in pending
matter must be therefore be defended strongly.
